Soliant is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school team for the upcoming 23/24 school year in California. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behavioral outcomes for students with special needs and creating a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans.
  • Provide direct behavior intervention services to students with a focus on skill acquisition and behavior management.
  • Train and support school staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies and techniques.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop and implement behavior strategies at home.
  • Attend and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and special education.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Experience working as a BCBA in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies.
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations, including IDEA.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
