2023-2024 Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Soliant is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school team for the upcoming 23/24 school year in California. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behavioral outcomes for students with special needs and creating a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans.
- Provide direct behavior intervention services to students with a focus on skill acquisition and behavior management.
- Train and support school staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies and techniques.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop and implement behavior strategies at home.
- Attend and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and special education.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working as a BCBA in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies.
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations, including IDEA.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
