Blazerworks is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our partnered school district in Chester, PA for the 2023-2024 school year. As an on-site BCBA, you will work with students in various settings to develop and implement behavior plans, provide ongoing support and training to staff, and collaborate with families and outside service providers to ensure continuity of care. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for students with challenging behaviors.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to support student learning and success.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to staff to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans and interventions.
  • Collaborate with families and outside service providers to ensure continuity of care and support for students.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations for appropriate services and supports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data on student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, special education, or related field
  • Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder and/or behavioral challenges
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavior analysis and special education
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
