Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our district-wide team for the 2023-2024 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and social success of our students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of professionals and contribute to the overall well-being of our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify and address students' academic and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students to support their social-emotional development.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate accommodations and goals.
- Collaborate with other members of the special education team and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
