BCBA: Board Certified Behavior Analyst needed for Full-Time Position in Wheeling, IL.

Soliant Health is in search of a qualified and experienced BCBA for a full-time position in a school district in Wheeling, IL.

As a BCBA, you will be working with students on the Autism spectrum may service other students who have various behavioral needs. For this position, your focus will be with secondary and general education students.

Position Description:

  • Full time
  • School Dates: 08/15/2022- 06/06/2023
  • Caseload: K-12th Itinerant
  • Able to sign off on RBT
  • Behavioral Disabilities

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School/Education Psychology, Behavior, Special Ed. Or similar field
  • BCBA certification (required)
  • State License

Essential Job Functions:

  • Engage in a coaching and learning approach that effectively supports educators and students
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to improve communicative, social, academic, and behavioral outcomes for all students, particularly those at the transition level (18-22).
  • Support the team with a hands-on approach in the community and on vocational sites.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with educational teams, school administrators, students, and parents to identify goals, plan and implement evidence-based practices in the delivery of assessment, instruction, and behavioral principles.
  • Share research, effective instructional practices and emerging trend that can be applied in classroom, community, and vocational settings.
  • Participate in program and classroom team meetings.
  • Support families through parent education, home support as needed, and access to community resources aligning with students, behavior intervention, or transition plans.
