A school district located in Mountain View, CA is seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician to join the team for the 23'-24' school year. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide behavioral support and intervention services to students with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborate with other service providers to promote positive behavior and academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA
  • Collect and analyze data on student behavior and progress
  • Provide direct support and intervention to students with disabilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to promote positive behavior and academic success
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on students' progress and needs

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred but not required
  • Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
