Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs with empathy and compassion.
- Collaborate wholeheartedly with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and interventions.
- Provide counseling, support, and crisis intervention services to students, creating a safe and nurturing virtual environment.
- Utilize digital platforms adeptly to deliver teletherapy services, encompassing assessments, counseling sessions, and consultations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress, ensuring attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, bringing your insights and expertise to the development of intervention strategies.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in school psychology, fostering a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
Requirements:
- Hold a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field, showcasing your dedication to academic excellence.
- Possess a valid Washington School Psychologist license, reflecting your commitment to professional standards and ethics.
- Demonstrate previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses, illustrating your empathy and understanding.
- Exhibit familiarity with conducting assessments, interpreting data, and developing IEPs, highlighting your comprehensive skill set.
- Showcase proficiency in utilizing digital platforms for teletherapy services, ensuring your adaptability in the virtual learning environment.
