Job Description:
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Onsite, Monday-Friday
- 2024-2025 school year
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Interpret assessment results and develop comprehensive intervention plans to address students' needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to support students' academic and social-emotional success.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' special education needs.
Conduct crisis interventions and provide support to students during difficult situations. - Stay current with best practices in school psychology and participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- School Psychology licensure in Connecticut
