Job Title: Full-Time School Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Arroyo Grande, California

Position Overview: ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational resources, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time School Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2023/2024 school year in Arroyo Grande, California. As a BCBA, you will work closely with students, families, and educational teams to provide behavior analysis and intervention services, ensuring the development and implementation of effective behavior plans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Design and implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies to address targeted behaviors and promote skill development
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide training and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff in the implementation of behavior plans and strategies
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordination of services and facilitate effective communication

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
• Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a BCBA
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral challenges in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build positive relationships
