School Psychologist
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a school district in Eau Claire, MI. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement in academic, social, and emotional domains.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address a range of concerns, including academic performance, behavior, and mental health.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans and strategies to support student success.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff in understanding and addressing the diverse needs of students.
- Contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of school psychology.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license in the state of Michigan.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being of students.
