Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: San Fransisco, CA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our educational team for the upcoming school year in San Fransisco, CA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within our school district.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and specific needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and interventions for students with special needs
  • Provide counseling and guidance to students dealing with academic, social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and recommendations
  • Offer support and consultation to teachers and staff regarding classroom management strategies, positive behavioral interventions, and accommodations
  • Conduct research and stay updated on current trends, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of school psychology
  • Collaborate with community resources and agencies to provide additional support to students and families

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of California
  • Experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse students, families, and colleagues
