Full Time- School Psychologist- Near, Mechanicsburg, PA

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team at a school near Mechanicsburg, PA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students with special needs
• Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
• Facilitate group counseling sessions to address specific issues, such as bullying, stress management, or conflict resolution
• Support teachers in implementing behavioral management strategies and classroom interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
• Monitor and evaluate students' progress through data collection and analysis
• Serve as a resource for parents, providing guidance and support in addressing their child's educational and emotional needs

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid Pennsylvania state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and IEP development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school climate
• Prior experience in a school or educational setting is preferred but not required
