ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Farmington, CT. As a School Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of students in the community.
Job details:
- 2023-2024 school year
- Full time hours
- High school caseload (Ages 14-18)
- Physical and aggressive needs
- Onsite position

Responsibilities:
- Primarily referral assessments and evaluations.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Administer standardized tests to identify learning disabilities, intellectual abilities, and emotional issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address students' needs and implement effective interventions.
- Offer guidance on behavior management strategies for teachers dealing with challenging students.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology required
- Connecticut Licensed School Psychologist required
- Experience with high school students highly preferred
