1:1 Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Philadelphia, PA

Requirements:

• Current RBT certification or extensive experience as a Special Education Paraeducator
• Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Comfortable working with high-needs students exhibiting elopement, extreme emotional responses, and challenging behaviors
• Ability to manage physically emotive students and runners
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
• Commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment
• Willingness to adapt to dynamic behavioral needs

Qualifications:

• Provide 1:1 support to a high-needs student with challenging behaviors
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on ABA principles
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies
• Collaborate with the school's special education team to develop and adjust interventions
• Document and track student progress and behavior data
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the student at all times
