Part Time School Psychologist Contract Job

Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with a Phoenix school district, is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time School Psychologist. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with the educational team to support the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students through the application of psychological expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to determine the intellectual, social, and emotional status of students.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to design and implement individualized interventions and support strategies.
• Provide counseling services to students individually or in groups based on identified needs.
• Consult and guide educational staff on strategies to foster both academic and behavioral success for students.
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and offer expertise regarding psychological and educational strategies.
• Stay current with latest research and best practices in the field of school psychology and contribute to professional development sessions when necessary.

Qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification for practicing school psychology in Arizona.
• Proven experience working in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with a wide range of educational and psychological assessment tools.
