A Soliant partner in the area of Northfield, IL, is interviewing School Psychologists for a part-time contract position.

Details below:

  • 2 days a week
  • Hours: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Work with elementary school students
  • Start: ASAP
  • End: end of school year
  • This is a small education community located in the north suburbs of Chicago.

    As a school psychologist, day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting individual psychological evaluations, interpreting findings and making recommendations for a meaningful educational experience for each child.
  • Counseling and providing psychological remedial measures for students, individually or in groups.
  • Educating parents and staff on psycho-educational interventions.
  • Consulting with teachers and other school personnel in relation to behavior management and learning problems.
  • Determining student’s ability to learn and suggesting instructional strategies and techniques.
  • Communicating information clearly and concisely in multidisciplinary conferences.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized evaluation records.
  • To provide psychology services in Illinois schools, applicants would need to have the School Psychologist Professional Educator License, issued by the Illinois State Board of Education. If you are an out-of-state applicant, Soliant can provide guidance and support in the licensure process.
