There is an immediate need for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to begin working in the Santa Clara area of California. This position guarantees a speedy interview and hire process within in a very supportive school district.  Chosen candidate will begin the assignment one week after an offer is made and stay for the duration of the school year. Renewal is contingent upon performance.  All interested applicants must hold or obtain an active certification for California. RBT or ABA are qualify for this! 

The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services. RBTs shares the same role as ABA technicians; however, they carry the RBT credential, which is a nationally recognized professional credential that requires more extensive training.

Duties for the Behavior Specialist position:

  • Write, organize and support a case load of student’s behavioral goals by
  • Writing and reviewing current Behavior Plans, make needed updates to the BIP/FBA plans
  • Collaborate and consult with program specialist, school liaisons, behavior specialist team, teachers and paraeducators, participate in needed IEP meetingstrain and support staff to implement the current BIP/FBA.
