ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Milpitas. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a school setting, providing behavior intervention services to students with special needs.
Overview:

  • Full Time
  • 5 Days a Week
  • Start: As Soon As Possible
  • End: June 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professional.
  • Provide one-on-one behavior support to students in the school setting.
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency in implementing behavior plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and behavior strategies.
  • Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, particularly in a school or educational setting, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of behavior principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different students.
