Registered Behavior Technician | School-based | Providence, RI area

Soliant is currently searching for a registered behavior technician to assist a school district in the Providence, Rhode Island area. This is a full-time position for the 2023-2024 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

• Implementing behavior intervention plans and data collection procedures under the supervision of a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA)
• Providing direct instruction and support to students using applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students
• Participating in professional development and training sessions as required

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid registered behavior technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• A Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) certificate or eligibility to obtain one
• A clear background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and availability to travel within the district
