Digital School Psychologist - (K-12)
In this remote position, you will work with students who have mild to moderate diagnoses, providing them with the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
As a Digital School Psychologist, you will have a range of responsibilities, including:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic and emotional needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Providing virtual counseling and interventions to students, addressing their social-emotional concerns.
- Offering guidance and support to educators and parents in managing students' behavioral challenges.
- Participating in the development and implementation of school-wide programs aimed at improving the learning environment.
- Assisting in the identification and intervention of learning disabilities and other exceptionalities.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, progress notes, and reports.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the preferred candidate should meet the following qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Active state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
- Familiarity with conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with parents, teachers, and school staff.
- Comfortable with technology and proficient in using telepractice tools and software.
