Soliant is currently searching for a Registered Behavior Technician to assist a school district in the Columbia, Connecticut area. This is a full-time position for the 2023-2024 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

  • Full-time
  • 32-35 hours/week guaranteed
  • $25-$31/hr, depending on experience and caseload

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA)
  • Collecting and recording data on student performance and progress
  • Providing positive reinforcement and feedback to students
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Participating in professional development and training sessions as required

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid Connecticut registered behavior technician (RBT) credential or be willing to obtain one
  • A clear background check and drug screening
  • A reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • A compassionate and patient personality and a passion for working with students
