Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our educational team for the 2023-2024 academic year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within our school district. This position is based in Pennsylvania and offers a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' intellectual, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to students dealing with social and emotional challenges.
  • Offer guidance to teachers and parents on strategies for supporting students' academic and behavioral progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on current educational practices and interventions.
  • Promote positive school climate and assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Pennsylvania State Certification in School Psychology (or eligibility to obtain certification).
  • Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
