School Psychologist/ Full-time
Job Description:
Soliant is working with a partner school district in the Deering, Maine area to hire a qualified School Psychologist for the current school year. The School Psychologists will work with PreK-12th grade students and provide support in conducting comprehensive evaluations to determine special education and 504 eligibility. In addition, the School Psychologists will provide consultation to school-based and administrative teams.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to determine special education and 504 eligibility
• Support teams in determining special education and 504 eligibility
• Provide consultation to school-based and administrative teams
• Work collaboratively with other professionals to support student success
Qualifications:
• Must have a Maine School Psychologist license before starting
• Experience working with PreK-12th grade students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Following the school calendar schedule.
First day: ASAP
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
Competitive and negotiable hourly rate will be determined based on experience of applicant, as well as school budget. Applicant will not be paid when school is closed. Off on weekends, evenings and school holidays.
W2 contracted position for the 2023/2024 school year. Contract renewals for the following school-year are available for a good fit.
