School Psychologist - Full-Time - 2023-2024 SY - Fairfield, CA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Fairfield, CA, for the 2023-2024 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse student population while completing assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing counseling services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions.
• Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure appropriate supports are in place.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Serve as a resource for teachers and staff, offering guidance on behavior management techniques and strategies.
• Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist in California (or eligibility to obtain).
• Previous experience working in schools completing assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling services is required.
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

This is a full-time position for the 2023-2024 school year, with a commitment to full hours.
