School Psychologist | Full-Time | Fairfield, CA

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Fairfield, CA for the 2023-2024 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessments, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and counseling. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to individual student requirements.
• Provide counseling and support services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to promote personal development, academic success, and career exploration.
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to enhance student well-being and success.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and student intervention planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist in California (or eligibility to obtain).
• Prior experience working in schools, completing assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling services is required.
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
