Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in an educational setting, preferably within a K-12 school system.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social difficulties.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote positive mental health and overall student well-being.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of school psychology to inform best practices.
- Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and parents, providing guidance on effective classroom strategies and interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, develop intervention plans, and make appropriate referrals.
