We are looking for a School Psychologist in the Dover, Delaware area. This job starts this Fall, is full time, and lasts for the entire school year. The caseload is mostly with K-8th grade, and includes some students with severe disabilities, and some Autism, serving multiple sites in the district but all are close together. Duties may include initial evaluations, re-evaluations, interventions, overview of current IEP plans/ adjustments, and observations/ Parent meetings.
Applicants MUST have Delaware School Psychologist Cert
School Psych Job Skills:
Conduct legally defensible evaluations for students suspected to require specially designed instruction in addition to re-evaluations for students identified as requiring special education and related services within state and federal timelines.
Serve as a member of the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee for students who have identified emotional/behavioral needs, including those who require a supplement to the code of conduct (i.e., Behavior Intervention Plan) and an Autism ARD Supplement.
Conduct evaluations (e.g. Functional Behavioral Assessments) to guide ARD/IEP Committee decisions regarding emotional/behavioral programming.
