School Psychologist - Chicago, IL (60601)
Location: Chicago, IL
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Chicago, IL, for the 2024-2025 school year. You will play a crucial role in promoting the mental health and academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and emotional support to students.
- Participate in the development of IEPs and 504 plans, offering insights based on assessments.
- Assist with crisis intervention and provide ongoing support to the school community.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
