School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a school district in Hardin, MT. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and intervention services to students struggling with academic, behavioral, or social-emotional issues.
• Support the development of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) within the school community.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and determine appropriate interventions.
• Advocate for the inclusion and acceptance of all students in the school community.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Montana.
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
• Experience with IEP development and implementation.
