Position Overview: As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health, academic success, and overall well-being of our diverse student population. Working collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families, you will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive school culture.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans
- Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior and mental health
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with diverse student populations in a K-12 setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
