ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate full-time School Psychologist this current school year for a contract position located near the Oakland, California area. For anyone commuting for this position, we can provide paid travel and housing stipends to help compensate for the drive. We also provide relocation assistance for those out of area. Description:
- Full-Time
- On-site, Monday-Friday
- $44-50+ per hour
- Start ASAP
- Virtual Interview
- Caseload(s): 8th-12th Grade
Responsibilities:
- Develop, write and implement comprehensive Individual Educational Plans (IEP) for special education students.
- Helps to facilitate and contribute to pupil progress, as appropriate, by being familiar with diagnostic prescriptive procedure in relation to the students' Individual Educational Program (IEP); chairs and/or participates in IEP meetings as a team member.
- Assesses individual student potential, achievement and problems related to behavior and learning as requested, through use of appropriate techniques and instruments, and makes recommendations for improvement and counseling as needed.
- Completes all reports and maintains all necessary records for the special education program.
- Provides coordination in referral, follow-up and exiting procedures for special education programs, instructional techniques and activities for students.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate Level Degree in School Psychology
- Valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential with School Psychologist Authorization
