School Psychologist Opening - Dorchester, MA
I am seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist near Dorchester, MA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of our students. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to assess students' needs, develop interventions, and provide counseling services as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Advocate for students' needs and support positive behavioral interventions throughout the school community.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- School Psych License for MA
- Experience working in a school setting and knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
