Soliant Education – 2024-2025 School Year Contract Position
Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in the Cumming, GA area. This is a contract position, offering flexible full-time or part-time hours, and onsite work only. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ year of experience and be comfortable assisting with student evaluations and related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to assess student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide recommendations for student accommodations and interventions.
- Conduct counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Attend IEP meetings and other relevant school team meetings.
- Work closely with school administration to implement school-wide mental health initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and evaluations.
Position Requirements:
- Must be licensed through GAPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) as a School Psychologist for K-12.
- 1+ year of experience in a school setting (preferably).
- Experience with psychological assessments and student evaluations.
- Ability to work onsite (no remote options).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
