School Psychologist Opportunity for 2023-2024 | Tower City, PA

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of our students. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and possesses excellent assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for intervention and support services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide counseling and guidance services to students on various issues such as academic difficulties, social skills, and emotional well-being
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid Pennsylvania certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist preferred, but exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply
