Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in the Petaluma, CA area. This is a full-time, onsite position for the 2024-2025 school year. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students’ needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address behavioral, emotional, and academic issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend interventions.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding effective instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student evaluations, progress, and services provided.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of school psychology through professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid CA School Psychologist license, or willingness to obtain licensure
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Previous experience as a school psychologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
