School Psychologist URGENT: NEED l Plaistow, NH

We are looking for a School Psychologist in Plaistow, NH. As a School Psychologist you will play a crucial role in promoting a positive and supportive school environment. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of our students are met. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that foster student growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• 09/25/2023 - 06/14/2024
• Full-time position, 40 hours a week
• Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM
• Elementary, middle, and high school caseload
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and needs
• Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with academic, social, behavioral, or emotional difficulties
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and parents regarding effective classroom strategies and interventions
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at promoting positive mental health and well-being

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• New Hampshire licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues
