Job Description:
As a School Social Worker with ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting students' social and emotional well-being. Your responsibilities will include providing individual and group counseling, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educators, parents, and community resources to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' social and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker in Colorado.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
