School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Yelm, WA
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with special needs? Join our team as a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Yelm, WA. We are seeking a dedicated individual with RBT certification to work collaboratively within our educational environment to support students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school setting.
- Provide direct one-on-one support to students, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management.
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior to track outcomes and inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions across settings.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- RBT Certification Required
- Experience working with children with special needs in educational or clinical settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies effectively
- Must pass background check and obtain necessary clearances
