Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and special education processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience developing and implementing individualized education and behavioral plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data for special education eligibility
- Consult with school teams to develop and monitor intervention strategies
- Serve as a resource in crisis intervention and counseling for students as needed
- Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students through direct services and classroom collaboration
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized education plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all legal and ethical standards
