Are you a dedicated School Psychologist eager to support students' mental health and academic success? Join our team as a Travel School Psychologist and experience the rewarding opportunity to work in diverse school environments across the country. As a Travel School Psychologist, you’ll have the chance to provide essential psychological services to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Responsibilities:
- Assessments: Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Counseling Services: Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and implement intervention plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with district policies.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention services when necessary to ensure student safety and well-being.
- Education: Educate school staff, parents, and students about mental health, learning strategies, and coping mechanisms to foster a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Active or pending state School Psychologist license.
- Experience in school settings is highly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of psychological assessments, special education processes, and mental health interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to different school environments.
