Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based contract position in Willimantic, Connecticut. This role is for the full academic year and offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and school teams to support educational and social-emotional development, particularly for students receiving special education services.
Position Overview:

Full-time, Monday through Friday during school hours

Caseload: Specific details will be discussed during the interview
Qualifications:
-
Active Connecticut Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
-
Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements
-
Previous experience with special education evaluations and services strongly preferred
-
Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for initial, annual, and triennial reviews
-
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to support eligibility decisions and service planning
-
Provide counseling services and behavioral interventions to students as needed
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to develop strategies that promote student success
-
Support school-wide initiatives related to mental health, academic interventions, and positive behavior
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
