Seeking a Dynamic Hybrid School Psychologist for Our Educational Community

Our institution is looking for a skilled and adaptable School Psychologist to support our students' success in a hybrid learning environment. This position offers the unique opportunity to blend on-site and remote psychological services, contributing to a supportive and effective educational experience for all.

As a School Psychologist on our team, you will play a crucial role in fostering the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students. You will collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to create and implement strategies that support student learning and mental health.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to understand student needs.
  • Collaborating in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Providing individual and group counseling services, addressing a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Offering consultation and guidance to teachers and staff on classroom management, learning supports, and student mental health.
  • Participating in crisis intervention and providing support to students and the school community as needed.
  • Working with families to enhance their understanding of their child's needs and to build a strong home-school partnership.
  • Maintaining thorough and confidential records of services provided.
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in working within a school setting, serving diverse student populations.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn and utilize technology for remote service delivery, assessments, and communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to ethical practice.
