Position Overview: As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting students' mental health and academic success. You will work remotely, collaborating with educators, parents, and students to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your expertise will be essential in assessing students' needs, providing counseling, and helping to develop strategies that support their emotional and educational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' academic and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide virtual counseling and support services to students, addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Monitor and track students' progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies.
  • Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support their child's well-being.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in school psychology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • South Carolina School Psychologist licensure or ability to obtain it.
  • Strong communication and virtual collaboration skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively.
