Responsibilities: As a Digital School Psychologist at VocoVision, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting virtual psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and potential diagnoses.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop comprehensive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet students' unique needs.
- Providing counseling and support services to students, fostering their social-emotional growth and well-being.
- Offering guidance and professional development to teachers and staff on matters related to student behavior, mental health, and learning strategies.
- Participating in virtual team meetings, IEP meetings, and providing progress reports on students' development.
- Adhering to ethical and legal standards in the provision of psychological services.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid School Psychologist licensure in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Psychologist, preferably with K-12 students.
- Proficiency in conducting virtual assessments and providing online counseling.
- Strong understanding of the IEP process and experience in developing effective IEPs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Tech-savvy with a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
