Key Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina School Psychologist License
- Background in conducting evaluations for Special Education eligibility
- Experience assessing Specific Learning Disability using the PSW model
- Solid understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete timely evaluations in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Assess and identify eligibility for Special Education services across a range of needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support development and implementation of student plans
- Provide recommendations for interventions and strategies to address student needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
- Participate in meetings and contribute insights to support overall student well-being
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and evolving priorities throughout the school year
