Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist License required.
- Background in conducting Special Education eligibility evaluations.
- Experience with assessments related to Specific Learning Disabilities, particularly using the PSW (Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses) model.
- Familiarity with evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to determine eligibility for special services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings.
- Utilize a variety of assessment tools and strategies to address a broad range of student needs.
- Provide consultation to teachers and parents regarding behavioral and academic concerns.
- Maintain detailed documentation and uphold confidentiality in all processes.
- Engage proactively with students and staff to foster a positive learning environment.
