What you’ll bring:
- Kansas School Psychologist License (required)
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Initiative and flexibility for travel to different schools (all within 20 minutes of Emporia)
- Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practice
Key responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services including assessments, counseling, and consultation for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs and intervention plans
- Serve as a collaborative member of multidisciplinary teams
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral management as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Foster environments where all students feel safe, supported, and empowered
This full-time contract is onsite, 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to build strong, supportive relationships across schools with manageable travel within the local area.
