Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and student support planning
- Strong understanding of special education processes and state/federal regulations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds and needs
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI) procedures preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and participate in related meetings
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to students individually or in groups
- Provide crisis response and consultation services for students facing academic or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies for student success
- Help inform and implement school-wide initiatives promoting mental health, equity, and positive behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ethical and legal standards
