Qualifications & Credentials:
- Valid IL PSYCH credentials required
- Previous experience in a middle school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological evaluations, IEP processes, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive educational experiences
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop effective intervention strategies
- Create and support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and responsive counseling as needed
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to advocate for student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
