Key Qualifications:
- Valid LBS1 Credentials required
- Previous experience in a middle school or similar educational setting preferred
- Knowledge of implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including School Psychologists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a middle school caseload, delivering tailored instruction to students with special education needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with school psychologists and other support staff to ensure holistic student support
- Partner with families to provide regular updates and involve them in the educational process
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding special education services
- Participate in professional development and engage with the Clinical Advisory Team for ongoing growth
