What you’ll bring:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement)
- Master’s or higher degree from an accredited School Psychology program
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing recommendations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for work with students, staff, and families
- Solid understanding of MTSS/RTI processes, IEP procedures, and state/federal education regulations
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Interpret results and generate actionable recommendations for interventions and supports
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs in partnership with the special education team
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Consult with teachers and staff on effective instructional strategies and behavioral supports
- Participate in problem-solving and data review meetings to monitor student progress
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment for all learners
